i'd keep the ole green and lower the truck just like you say, after the tires are worn out. since they are both 4X4 they'll both guzzle gas like nobodys bussiness (which is a nice saying ;-) !

oh yea it snowed here a couple of days ago (most is melted now) snowed like 7 inches. put ol green in 4x4 and man that truck mobs! i was trying to get her to slide around corners on some not so busy side streets. nothing. i've never had something drive so nice on such crappy roads. well worth the money paid for her just for that reason alone

Have you looked at your cab mounts to fix your alignment problem.

i dont know anything about how to fix cab mounts if thats the problem. i think that is the problem though if your talking about the rubber boot thing in the back of the cab underneath. there are two of them and one looks all messed up so any help with switching these? mark

i used some "release spray on the bolts and nuts that are holding the rubbers to the cab, you have to rubbers on the rear of the cab and to on the front of the cab(off course "under' the cab ;-) with the release oil doing its job it helps you to unbolten the cab from the chassis .turn the nuts loose, but dont remove them completely, support the cab with extractable supports or any other way that lets you work safe. choose one spot to start, with a jack lift the loose cab from the chassis , just enough to let you completely unbolten and take out the old rubber. take the new rubber, replace and bolt the rubber back to the cab, don't tighten ! do this with the other three rubber mounts. all the rubbers replaced, tighten the bolts, work diagonally.
