Hello Please Help

I dont mean to sound like a newbie nuisance but I am in need of some help. I have an 85 chevy c10 shortbed. I need a steering column, bad. What years fit or are the same steering column as my 85 Chevy C10?
It has tilt and wiper delay and all the electronics etc etc etc. I need to go to pick n pull and get one out of a truck but need this info first. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

You need one from a 84 - 87 truck with the same options as yours.

77 1/2 ton Heavy Half chev 454,350TH,3.07rear driven 6 YR now changed back to 85 monte carlo SS 305 Motor as of 2004, june,30 inter changed to 84 GMC style, flatbed with a 98 van bumper.

Thank you thank you thank you. You might have just saved me about 400 bucks on a new /rebuilt steering column. I do have one more question if I might ask... Are all chevy truck/suburban years 84-87 steering columns the same? I'm wondering if I might get one from a suburban or 3/4 ton if I cannot find an actual 84-87 C-10.

Yes as Long as they have the same steering column. Option as yours (" IE: Tilt Auto Floor Shift, Pulse."then this would fit yours )
Truck 84 - 87 C / K in GMC OR CHEV
Suburban 84 - 91 C / K GMC OR CHEV
Blazer 84 - 91 C / K GMC OR CHEV
The KEY is it has to have same steering column.Option as one your working on.

Indeed I saved myself about 300 bucks with the info you provided. .....but..... dun dun dun.... here I am again with another question. I am in need of a hood for my 85, What year's and model's will fit my C10?

hey,
when it comes to hoods , i believe all the year model hoods from 1981-1992 will fit...

For Hoods 81 - 87 Trucks C / K GMC OR CHEV
For Hoods 81 - 91 Suburban C / K GMC OR CHEV
For Hoods 81 - 91 Blazer C / K GMC OR CHEVThis applies to the Doors, Fenders also
